Raised in Islip hamlet, New York on Long Island, Cindy earned a Bachelor of Science of Science in Business Studies from SUNY-Buffalo State College. Raised in Islip hamlet, New York on Long Island, Cindy earned a Bachelor of Science of Science in Business Studies from SUNY-Buffalo State College. After college her professional career blossomed when she joined BARRA's Fixed Income team in Berkeley, California - an investment management software and consulting firm.
Her husband's job transfer moved the family from Berkeley to Indianapolis where she transitioned to I.T. Project Management: first at Clarian Health Partners then to First Indiana Bank.
In 2003 the Ward Family packed two kids, two cats, one dog and Hazel the goat and moved to Weaverville/Alexander. It was there they all felt they'd found their home!
